The Stray Phrases formed in the fall of 2009 while studying music at New York University. Their collective enjoyment of improvisational music and hip-hop/pop/groove-based music inspired them to create music that draws upon a convergence of those styles. With spontaneous play and exciting live performances the Stray Phrases captivate audiences that appreciate many types of music. The Stray Phrases have come out with an album titled Tribal Pimps from Hell and recently recorded a new 4 track EP. Now the Stray Phrases look to bring their music to the people of New York, the United States, and the entire world! |
